Municipality to work on roads before January

The Kisoro Municipal council engineer Aloyse Semahoro has promised the council that the pot holes on roads in the central town will be worked on before the this year ends.

Semahoro revealed the plan after the councilors asked him to explain the plan he has for potholes on old tarmac along Rukimbira,Chuho and Mutanda roads.

Niyomugisha Annah the Nyamagana ward representative asked why the roads in the municipality continue to develop potholes despite regular repairs.

Nkurunziza Geoffrey the municipal speaker said that they fear to face people in the municipality because the roads are looking bad in the face of the public.

In his response, Semahoro Aloyse said that the roads develop potholes after repair because the tarmac that was put at least 20 years back is old.

He said that after punching holes, other holes develop on the sides of the road. He said that they have mobilized materials to work on the roads before the year ends.

Meanwhile Chuho,Mutanda and main street are in a story state and has raised complaints from the public.
