Bufumbira East Member of parliament Hon Dr James Nsaba Buturo has said he will be sponsoring Twese Turibamwe Tournament every year to develop talents and discipline among Youths in his constituency.Hon Dr Buturo said this while giving closing remarks after a football final march between Chahafi town council and Nyakabande sub-county in Twese Turibamwe Tournament at Mashaka play ground in Nyakabande Sub County.The final match ended in a draw of 1:1 where both teams went in penalty shootout and Nyakabande Sub County triumphed with 5:4 goals against Chafu Town council.
Dr Buturo said the tournament will help to overcome different problems among the youths in Bufumbira East. He adds the tournament will help to promote togetherness in the constituency.
He commended all teams and fans for exhibiting good behaviors throughout the competitions.
Hundreds of people had gathered watching a football final match between Chahafi town council and Nyakabande sub-county.
Players thanked Hon Nsaba Buturo for supporting and loving the youth through football tournaments of both men and women.They requested Butoro to help and buy the goal posts and build toilets at Mashaka playground for its development.
They thanked him for remembering girls and setting up tournaments for pulling up their talents.
Meanwhile Nyakabande team took the trophy and was given shs500, 000, Chahafi town council team which came as the second was given shs400, 000, Kanaba team pocketed 300,000shs, Murora took 200,000shs and each team was given a ball while two women teams were given 100,000shs each.
