Elly Maate, the Kigezi region police spokesperson revealed that the incident happened during the morning hours of 8th December 2021 and the case was reported by Elias Turyamureba the village chairperson of Kyase A cell, Buhara parish, Buhara sub-county in Kabale district.
Maate identified the deceased as Budrah Ngabirano alias Muzeyi 49 resident of Kyase B cell, Buhara parish, Buhara sub-county, Kabale district.
It’s alleged that on 7th December 2021 at around 5pm, the deceased left the wife Amina Kyomugisha at home and went to Hakibanda trading centre in the neighbouring village but never returned back.
It was on the 8th December 2021 at around 6:30Am when Judith Tusiimemukama of Hakibanda trading centre, Kyase A cell while on her way to the savings group found the deceased lying lifeless alongside the road.
She informed the area village chairperson who reported the matter to Buhara police post vide sd ref: 03/08/12/2021.
