| Minors who attacked a banker |
The director of Kisoro Parents Junior School
Nyakabande, Hope Ruzaza has dismissed claims that one of the juvenile suspects
that were arrested on Wednesday night for waylaying a DFCU banker is a pupil at
her school.
In a press briefing yesterday, Police said that one
of the suspects, Tuyisenge Daniel aged 15 is a pupil at Junior Primary School
Nyakabande. The juvenile confirmed this to reporters during an interview.
He was arrested along with other three juveniles
aged 15 and 16 for attacking Evarist Muhereza near Kisoro PTC as he returned
back home at around 10:20pm.
However, according to hope Ruzaza, there is no
primary school in Nyakabande Sub County called Junior Primary but the boy was
meaning Kisoro Parents Junior School, which she termed as false claims.
This reporter checked through the school records but
the name Tuyisenge Daniel was not spotted on the lists of pupils in the school.
Mrs. Ruzaza said that she knows the boy as a
resident of Kiburara but he has never studied from her school. She called upon
his parents to improve on their parental obligations because what he did gives
a bad name for Kisoro parents Junior.
She says that immoral characters among children
start during the early age of parenting when parents don’t perform their
duties. She says that these juveniles should be prosecuted according to the law
because crimes are on a rise and juveniles are the most involved.
