Police in Kabale are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of one Vincent Fita Batuma Seti Alias Fumbira, whose body was on Saturday 19 found on the road behind Country View Hotel near Kigongi central market Kabale municipality/district.
ASP Maate Elly the KigezI police PRO said information was reported to police by Kwizera Patrick
aged 28years old , self employed, a resident of Kirigime cell, Southern division, Kabale municipality district, that the helpless body of the victim was lying at that place.
ASP Maate said police visited the scene and was documented.
According to Maate a bottle of ROKET (profenofos 40% cypermethrin) insecticide poison suspected to have been taken by the deceased was found besides the body and had vomited some white substances mixed with blood all smelling like that insecticide.
The body was taken to Kabale regional referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.
Information on the ground is that yesterday 18/11/2022, he took the same poison so that he dies, but the people around gave him milk and that he kept saying that he will take it again when they are not seeing so that he dies, something he must have done.
