A 40-year-old man from Nyarusiza sub county has been rushed
to St Francis Mutolere hospital after unknown criminals allegedly chopped off
his privates parts. The victim has been identified as Ntibakunze Richard 40, a
resident of Butaha village Gitenderi parish Nyarubuye Sub County.
The incident occurred in the night of Wednesday 16th
March in Buhangura village Mabungo
parish Nyarusiza Sub County as the victim was returning home from Kuradio
trading center where he was taking a drink from. The unknown criminals attacked
him in a few meters from Kuradio trading center and chopped off his penis and
tentacles before disappearing with them.
Nyarusiza sub county LCV male councilor,
Mfitumukiza John who confirmed the incident say after receiving the disturbing
news, he rushed to the scene only to find all tentacles and penis of the victim
chopped off and the victim lying in pool of blood. He condemned the act and
asked residents to cooperate with security officers in carrying out
investigation so that the culprits can be arrested and arraigned before the
courts of law.
Area residents said the last night’s incident left
them in great fear. They say that this is a second incident of chopping off
manhood in a period of less than a month in their attributing it to witchcraft.
Meanwhile the victim is currently admitted to Mutolere hospital in a critical
condition.
