Ssekandi is deputized by Robert Tukamuhebwa who replaces Dan Ndikumwami and was also welcomed.

After welcoming them, the two visited Bunagana border to assess the situation of refuges from DRC. They also visited Cyanika border. Ssekandi said the purpose of the visit to the border point was to be updated about the situations.
