Church of God Holly community today 27th took a historic step as Apostle Stepson ordained and sanctified six pastors at a service in Muganza village,Muganza parish, Chahi Sub County.
Apostle Stepson had represented Dr Joseph Sserwadda the presiding Apostle of Born Again Faith Federation Uganda, a body that brings together born again Christians in Uganda and Senior Pastor Victory Christian Centre in Ndeeba.
Addressing the newly-ordained pastors, Apostle Stepson Stepson thanked them for not giving up their calling in the midst of many challenges.
He reminded the ordained pastors that they have been chosen by God and that they should be careful when God raises them.
He said that when pastors unite it’s when the government will realize that they are strong men ministering in the country. He said unity among born again faith pastors will make them realize their potentials.
The overseer of Church of God Holy community in Uganda Steven Mbarushimana told the newly ordained pastors that the places they are going to,might not be friendly to them but they must trust and believe that God will provide way where there is no way.
He encouraged them not to mind about their physical appearance, where the come from or tribe but rather be ready to fight against the devil.
The ordained pastors include; pastor Wor Joseph who will coordinate Nothern region, Pastor Turinayo Hoshea to coordinate western region, pastor Napawa Kellen to coordinate central region, pastor Mugisha Nicholas to coordinate Eastern region, pastor Kanyarwanda Christopher and Bizimana Chuma to coordinate Jomba region in DRC.They took oath of allegiance to the church.
Other invited Bishops from Born Again Faith who were present include Bishop Richard Mathias Mbombe from Nigeria,Bishop Uwimana Joreme from DRC and Bishop Claude from Rwanda.
While closing the service Steven Mbarushimana the overseer Church of God Holy community in Uganda said that he achieved his mission of starting two primary schools in Kisoro, expanding God’s ministry and he aims at starting up a health unit and a sacco.
